About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to join our team at TechMinds GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development of embedded systems and software architectures for automobile powertrain inverter (powertrain electronics) as well as supplier management in the field of testing and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Customize Power Electronics Systems: You will be technically responsible for customizing power electronics (powertrain inverter) systems and software for OEM projects.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: You will gather, analyze, and define requirements and specifications in innovation development projects.
- Technical Leadership: You will take the lead in discussions with customers on an in-depth technical level regarding requirements and specifications.
- Software Architecture Solutions: You will be responsible for the presentation and explanation, justification, and argumentation of software architecture solutions and alignment with OEM's requirements.
- System Design Evaluation: You will evaluate the impact of different software solutions on the overall system design.
- Technical Requirement Clarification: You will identify dependencies and drive technical requirement clarifications with other software domain architects to ensure a consistent end-to-end solution.
- System Architecture Development: You will be responsible for the development and definition of the system architecture in accordance with customer needs.
- Software Architectural Design: You will develop and define the software architectural design, which identifies the elements of the software.
- System Planning: You will analyze potential customer needs and determine system requirements, capacity, and cost to contribute to the development of a system plan.
- Design Rule Definition: You will be in charge of the definition and communication of improvement potentials for design rules for the overall product.
- Testing Strategies: You will develop testing strategies on system and software levels.
- Test and Validation Results: You will analyze test and validation results and define development actions.
- Supplier Management: You will also be in charge of supplier management.
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or software engineering. You should have at least 5 years of working experience with at least 3 years of software engineering in the field of power electronics. You should be proficient in at least one programming language (C, C++, or Python) and have deep architectural knowledge of control algorithms and data processing for automotive applications. You should also be experienced in inverter SW topology, electrical device, and control of electric machines in design and calibration. Fluency in English is a must.
