Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Tech Lead to join our WAVE Supply Services team. As a key member of our cross-functional programmatic team, you'll be responsible for developing the face of our product, including services to set up our SDK, analyze ad revenue, and visualize data on our dashboard or provide it via APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage a high-performing team, collaborating with a Product Lead to drive software development and growth.
• Define the architecture of our software, providing a framework for engineers to develop and innovate.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and specifications for features.
• Mentor and train developers to enhance their programming, communication, and planning skills.
• Develop features on your own, with a focus on web frontend development (at least 50% of your time).
• Align with other tech teams on common technologies and tools.
• Analyze statistics from various sources to identify data use cases and issues.

Requirements

• Technical degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• 2+ years of experience working as a Lead, preferably in web application development.
• Full-stack development experience, including frontend (React, Angular, or similar) and backend (Go or willingness to learn).
• Experience in mobile development, such as writing an app or working in a cross-functional team.
• Familiarity with Typescript, Redux, Emotion-js, JSS, Tailwind, or similar frameworks, Git, and Docker.
• Basic data analysis skills and experience working with data.
• Experience in hiring, regular 1-1s, and creating career plans for developers.
