Job Requirements / Description
Your mission
Lead and develop the Supply Planning team to ensure efficient and reliable planning of factory production, materials and capacity Collaborate closely with purchasing, production, and logistics departments to ensure a smooth flow of goods, align on service levels, minimum order quantities and delivery performance Develop and align changes to the production schedule when demand or supply deviates from plan. Establish critical inventory parameters - such as ABC classification and safety stock settings, replenishment quantity and launch quantity - considering constraints and inputs variability, such as lead time and order cycle time. Identify possible future capacity constraints and bottlenecks in the supply base, develop solutions to improve Work closely with product development and reflect launch plans into material requirements plans Monitor KPIs within supply planning and ensure that goals are met Lead and develop a high-performing team in supply chain planning
Your experience & skills
Degree in engineering, supply chain management or a related field Several years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the food industry or a related sector Ability to use and develop production/capacity/material planning systems and solutions Proven success in managing and optimizing supply chains and planning processes Strong analytical skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong problem-solving mindset Fluent in both German and English Several years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the food industry or a related sector
