This role is based in our Frankfurt office, the headquarters of our main EEA entity, Leonteq Securities (Europe) GmbH. Our organisational values people together, passion, dedication, quality and expertise are our guiding north star.What you'll doAdvise on all regulatory matters concerning financial markets, (e.g. WpHG, WpIG, MiFID 2, MiFIR, Transparency Directive)Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, such as distribution agreements and cooperation agreements with various Leonteq entitiesAdvise on EU data protection regulations (e.g. GDPR), supporting the Group DPOCollaborate with internal stakeholders to provide legal support on structured productsStay updated on legal developments and regulatory changes affecting the financial services industry and the Leonteq GroupSupport the business in navigating complex regulatory environments and provide strategic legal adviceEngage and liaise with regulatory authorities (e.g. BaFin) and external advisorsWhat you'll needQualification to practice law in GermanyAt least 4 years of relevant post-qualification legal experience, preferably within the financial services or capital markets sector (whether in-house or at a specialized law firm)Strong expertise in regulatory aspects of financial markets, with a focus on structured products, and good knowledge of data protection issuesWillingness to engage in a diverse range of tasks and work on the development of new business initiativesFluency in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languagesExcellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentNice to haveAdditional degrees (e.g. LLM) and knowledge of other European languagesWhy you'll love working hereOpportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative companyExposure to a broad range of legal and regulatory issues in the financial marketsCollaborative and supportive work environmentCareer development opportunities within a leading financial technology company #J-18808-Ljbffr
